ERICCO Launches Three New MEMS Integrated Navigation Systems with Varying Precision: Mapping-level ER-GNSS/MINS-01, Tactical-level ER-GNSS/MINS-03, and Commercial-level ER-GNSS/MINS-05.
These three integrated navigation systems can output continuous and reliable positioning, attitude, and speed information, offering new solutions for autonomous navigation, mapping, and motion analysis.
The GNSS-aided MEMS INS systems incorporate a navigation fusion algorithm and integrate high-performance GNSS modules, ensuring continuous high-precision and high-reliability data output for both long-term and short-term navigation processes.
Notably, all three MEMS integrated navigation systems have dimensions of 65mm x 70mm x 45.5mm and weigh less than 240g, making them especially suitable for applications with strict size and weight requirements.
ER-GNSS/MINS-01: Highest Precision for Mapping
The ER-GNSS/MINS-01 is designed for mapping applications and features a built-in 6-axis IMU. The MEMS gyroscope has a bias instability of 0.02°/h and an angular random walk of 0.005°/√h. The MEMS accelerometer has a range of ±60g and a bias instability (Allan variance) of less than 2μg. It can be used for high-precision attitude measurement, stability control, positioning, and navigation in land surveying/terrestrial mobile mapping systems, railway train systems, and large fixed-wing UAVs.
ER-GNSS/MINS-03: Medium Precision for Tactical Applications
The ER-GNSS/MINS-03 is a medium precision MEMS integrated navigation system with a built-in 6-axis IMU. The MEMS gyroscope has a bias instability of 0.3°/h and an angular random walk of 0.125°/√h. The MEMS accelerometer has a range of ±10g and a bias instability (Allan variance) of less than 5μg. The ER-GNSS/MINS-03 is suitable for autonomous vehicle orientation and navigation, tactical short-range guided weapons, and UAV attitude and position control.
ER-GNSS/MINS-05: Commercial-grade MEMS INS
The commercial-grade ER-GNSS/MINS-05 features a built-in 10-axis IMU, with a MEMS gyroscope bias instability of 2°/h and an angular random walk of ≤0.15°/√h. The MEMS accelerometer has a range of ±15g and a bias instability (1σ) of less than 5μg. Unlike the ER-GNSS/MINS-01 and ER-GNSS/MINS-03, it includes a barometer and a 3-axis magnetometer. The magnetometer enhances orientation capabilities, while the barometer is useful for altitude control and environmental monitoring. This system is ideal for robotic control, low-cost precision agriculture, low-cost vehicle navigation, low-cost surveying and scanning systems, civilian drones, unmanned surface vehicles.
